Dr Will Hume, Vet + Practice Owner

Will grew up in Nar Nar Goon and spent school holidays with his family in Yanakie on their family beef farm. 

He did his studies at the University of Queensland then worked for a while in South East Queensland in mixed practice, before travelling overseas where he worked in Saudi Arabia, England and Norway - predominantly in small animal practice and for the most part in a specialist small animal practice. 

Returning to Australia in 2010, Will worked in mixed practice before moving to Inverloch in 2012. 

Whilst working for five years as a veterinary investigator for the Victorian Government, Will - at the same time - kept busy doing locums for Dr Hugh Thomas, our clinic's founder. 

In early 2020 when Hugh announced his retirement, he asked Will if he was interested in taking over and well, there's no prizes for guessing what his answer was!
