Inverloch Animal Doc is a small and growing veterinary clinic located in Inverloch on Victoria’s beautiful Bass Coast and we’re looking for a Vet to join our team.

A picturesque seaside town that is popular with tourists in Summer, Inverloch is a great spot for those who enjoy water sports including fishing, surfing, kite surfing and boating. Invy locals love their football, netball and cycling, and our local wineries and restaurants make it an even more attractive destination. Inverloch’s close proximity to Wilson’s Promontory (gods country), Phillip Island and Melbourne mean that there is literally something for everyone to enjoy. We’re close enough (or far enough) from all the fun things and major centres – it really is where you’ll find the work-life balance you’ve always dreamt of.
About our awesome clinic – we may be small but pack a big punch and we have one heck of a personality.
Inverloch Animal Doc is open 9-5 Monday to Friday.
That’s it.
No Weekends. No afterhours. No shift work. No call outs.
Your life outside of clinic hours is your own to enjoy.
We currently have 1 full time and 3 part time vets caring/treating for primarily cats and dogs with a light load of birds and pocket pets. Our Vets are supported by 8 talented Veterinary Nurses making our ratio 1 vet 2 nurses.
About the owners – they’re legends.
The current owners purchased the clinic 18 months ago and they’re investing in modernising our facilities and in turn, we have a growing client list.
We run Ezyvet practice management software and have in house blood machines (including coagulation), ultrasound, digital x-ray, dental machine, electrocautery, orthopaedic equipment, and
modern anaesthetic monitoring equipment.
We welcome visiting surgeons for some orthopaedic cases and refer some surgical and all OOH cases to a specialist/emergency centre approximately 1.25hrs away.
What we’d like to see in our new vet – like us, you enjoy a fun, yet professional work environment.
We are looking for a vet who is interested in either full time or part time work on an ongoing basis and who is available to during the majority of the school holidays. We offer a generous salary package and a high work satisfaction to stress ratio in a beautiful coastal setting (serious zen).
Your experience and skill level are not as important as a good sense of humour and being able to fit into the team. We encourage and support ongoing education opportunities, professional development and CPD are provided.
