Niki always wanted to work with animals so in 2018 when she was offered the opportunity of employment with a not-for-profit organisation, rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming farm and companion animals, she couldn't say no!
This work was both interesting and hugely rewarding so Niki decided to pursue a career as a vet nurse.
Niki now lives in the beautiful rolling hills of Loch with her husband, son and twin daughters.
They foster and re-home animals throughout the year, with many of them staying on permanently. They currently have 14 non-human family members including dogs, cats, sheep, ponies, a rabbit, a bird and Dale the turtle.
In her spare time, Niki enjoys volunteering for animal rescue groups, and cuddling up in front of the fire with her kids, cats and dogs.
